What is Documentary Wedding Photography?Ultimately, documentary wedding photography is about capturing the wedding day's story. It's not about the bride and groom portraits shot during the golden hour. As much as I love creating these images with couples it’s really about telling the story of your day through pictures.
Couples I work with often mention how I have captured the atmosphere across the collection of their photos. As I document each wedding day I also strive to factor in context in the images. This is what truly sets the documentary approach apart from other photographic styles.
